Twine is one of two dance performances created by Kristin Hapke using music from 60x365. She approached me about collaborating on a project early in my podcast year. As a way to find out what kinds of sounds she was interested in using I suggested that she check out the pieces I'd made so. Since there was already a wide diversity of styles in the project this seemed like a good place to start.

She sent back a little list of pieces she liked and asked if I could combine and expand them for her. I was happy to oblige and composed Twine, which is also the first 60x365 Expansion. The pieces we used are Simple Sin(e) 1, Simple Sin(e) 2, Stasis, Glass Canon, and Here, I'll Play It Again.

Kristin presented Twine, along with Kathryn Padberg, at the Columbus Dance Theater on October 26-28, 2007.
