Jubilation is expanded from String Cheese (September 20). It belongs to a collection of pieces I'm making called The Amen Variations. Each variation is built around the amen break and is paired with a video visualization. The entire set is being created for a performance with choreographer Amiti Perry. The videos will be projected across the dancers as the primary light source for the space.

Although I created many pieces for 60x365 using the amen break, String Cheese was the one that felt like there was more room for exploration. When I began working on The Amen Variations again, my first project was to revisit String Cheese.
